| Volunteers are vital in helping run a smooth and successful event. We continue to look for prospective volunteers in most areas of Texas, with emphasis on the Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Houston metro areas. We need people to help donate time, energy, and experience in a variety of areas; including Rules officials, starters, marshals, and more.
We spend many early mornings and some afternoons assisting players with the Rules of Golf. Most of our days begin before the sun rises and ends in the early afternoon. We understand most of our prospective volunteers play by the Rules but may not comprehend them as well as they would like. We will train each volunteer in a seminar session as well as on the job training with a Senior Rules official. Volunteers will also be supplied a LJT hat, shirt and name badge to help distinguish themselves to players and parents.
