| The outline below covers general information for the Legends Junior Tour. Specific event information can be found on the tournament information pages that are designed for each championship.
CONDITIONS OF TOURNAMENT ENTRY: The Legends Junior Tour reserves the right to reject any entry at any time. In order to be officially entered the entry form and correct entry fee must be received in the Legends Junior Tour office no later than 12PM the day of the entry deadline. Late, incomplete or inaccurate entry forms will not be accepted. No fax or telephone entries will be accepted.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: Information concerning parings, starting times, etc., will be posted on the website no later than 2 days after the tournament entry deadline and will be emailed to both players and parents. It will be the player's responsibility to find starting field, tee-times and tournament information.
ALTERNATES: In the event of the competition being oversubscribed, the order of alternate players will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis. This list will be compiled immediately after the closing date for entries. All unsuccessful players will be notified without delay, but may be given an opportunity to compete if withdrawals subsequently occur. Entry fees will be refunded to those players not competing in the tournament.
WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY: Please see the Withdrawal Policy on the "Tour Policies" tab under the “Membership” tab.
TRAVEL AND LODGING: At least one month in advance of each tournament we will post information about the host hotel, discounted room rate, telephone numbers and directions to the hotel.
PRACTICE ROUND: Players will be responsible for calling the Host Club to schedule practice rounds. The practice rounds are optional and green fees are not included in the tournament entry fee. However, the Legends Junior Tour will negotiate a reduced rate for practice rounds at the Host Club.
PLAYER REGISTRATION: Registration will normally begin 60 minutes prior to the first tee time on Day One. More information about tournament registration will be made available in the days leading up to the championship.
FIRST ROUND TEE TIMES/PAIRINGS: First round pairings and starting times will be available on our website approximately 2 days after the tournament entry closing date and will be emailed to players and parents. Tee times will also be available at the Host Club's Pro Shop approximately two (2) days prior to the start of the championship. The Legends Junior Tour strongly recommends that players always double-check their tee time.
FINAL ROUND: After the completion of the first round, all contestants will be repaired (by score and within age group) for the second and/or final round. Tee times and pairings will be available approximately one hour after the conclusion of play and will be posted on the web site, on the scoreboard, and in the Pro Shop. Pairings will also be emailed to players and parents.
AWARDS CEREMONY: Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in each age division. The trophy presentation will take place at the scoreboard immediately following the conclusion of play. Any ties for first place will be decided by a “sudden death” playoff. Second place will be decided by matching scorecards. The process of matching scorecards is used only to determine which player will receive the trophy, but will not affect the awarding of AJGA exemptions or the number of Legends Junior Tour Performance Points awarded.
