| | | | SPECTATOR POLICY |
|---|
 | | |
Parents, relatives, friends, and other spectators are welcomed and encouraged to come out to the golf course to watch the exciting competition. The following guidelines have been established to ensure a level playing field for all contestants.
- Spectator carts may be permitted during tournament rounds. Spectator carts are considered a privilege and may not be offered at certain events. The host club's rules and regulations regarding spectator carts take precedence over Legends Junior Tour policy. Please call the host club in advance to make sure they allow spectator carts. Carts must stay on the cart path at all times except in case of weather evacuation. Only two spectators may ride in a cart at one time.
- Spectators need to stay clear of the playing areas (tee boxes, fairways, greens) and should walk on the cart paths or in the rough areas.
- When driving in carts, please be courteous to other players by ceasing to drive while others are preparing to hit.
- Keep a proper distance from the players – a minimum of 25 yards is recommended. Parents and spectators cannot walk with players during tournament play.
- Do not give advice to any player. Talking to competitors during tournament rounds is not allowed, as it could be perceived as giving advice resulting in a two-stroke penalty on the player. (Please refer to USGA Rule 8-1 for definition).
- Spectators are not to give rulings to competitors – only Texas Legends Junior Tour Rules officials are authorized to give rulings to competitors.
- Cellular phones, beepers, and other electronic devices are permitted, but should be set to silent or vibrating mode so as not to disrupt the players.
- Under no circumstance will pets of any kind be allowed on the course.
