Northern Texas PGA & the Junior Golf Foundation

Founded in 1922 as part of the Texas PGA, the Northern Texas Section is comprised of more than 800 PGA professionals at over 300 facilities. The Sections mission is to promote golf and contribute to the game through quality programs and services. The NTPGA Junior Golf Foundation annually teaches more than 20,000 children the positive aspects that accompany learning and playing the game of golf. Integrity, discipline and social responsibility are lessons applied not only to golf, but life in general. The Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization, strives to provide character building experiences to children of every race, creed, gender and socioeconomic background. Through programs and initiatives such as Golf-In-Schools, Clubs-For-Kids, and Help-A-Kid Play Golf the Foundation ensures the vitality of the game by imparting these traditions to future generations of golfers. Southern Texas PGA & the Junior Golf Foundation

The Southern Texas Section of the PGA of America is comprised of over 800 golf professionals representing over 200 facilities in Southern Texas. The STPGA geographic area includes Beaumont, Houston, Bryan-College Station, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley. In addition to providing services to golf professionals and to the golf industry, the Southern Texas Section of the PGA formed the STPGA Foundation in 1994, a 501 (c) (3) organization. The mission of the STPGA Foundation is to provide youth in south Texas broad opportunities to experience the game of golf, develop their talent as players and themselves as individuals, and promote scholarships benefits to as many qualified candidates as possible. The STPGA Foundation Junior Golf Programs have well over 2,000 junior golf members and conducts over 150 tournaments, clinics and other programs annually. Texas Golf Association

The Texas Golf Association is a nonprofit organization that serves as the governing body for amateur golf in Texas. Founded in 1906, the TGA is dedicated to promoting the game of golf in Texas and serving its membership of over 500 clubs and more than 120,000 individual golfing members. In addition to conducting 11 statewide amateur championships and 6 regional championships, the TGA also offers a full-range of services to its members including: providing and administering the USGAs Golf Handicap and Information Network ("GHIN") service and system; issuing USGA Course, Slope & Pace of Play ratings for both member and non-member clubs; as well as conducting statewide educational seminars covering the aforementioned topics.
