The 105th Texas Amateur will be held on June 12-15 at Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas, TX. For those not otherwise exempt, 18-hole qualifying will be held at 18 sites across the state from April 8-May 19. The deadline for registration is March 26, 2014at 5:00PM CST.
Kyle Hogan won the Boys 15-18 Division after a final-round 70. Hailee Cooper won the Girls 12-18 Division after making a 5-foot par putt on the 18th hole to win by one shot. Thomas Critch cruised to victory in the Boys 14 & Under division, winning the Spring Preview by six shots.
Brandon Smith of Frisco and Thomas Critch of Cedar Park were first-time winners at the Winter Classic in the Boys 15-18 and Boys 14 & Under division respectively. Annika Clark of Highlands followed up her Jimmy Demaret Junior Classic victory two weeks ago with another win in the Girls 12-18 division.
