Mason Greenberg’s final round of the 89th Texas State Junior Championship presented by Merrill Lynch was a victory lap more than anything else. After carding the first-ever competitive 7-under-par 64 at Ram Rock on Thursday, Greenberg merely needed to show up and stay out of trouble in his final round.
Hailey Jones of Dallas was two strokes behind leader Hanna Alberto of Kingwood as she headed into her final two holes of play at the 89th Texas State Junior Championship presented by Merrill Lynch. Jones forced a 2-hole playoff with Alberto and went on to win the Girls 15-18 title.
Jenson Rogenes of Frisco and Valerie Routzong of Richmond claim victories in the Boys and Girls 14 & Under Divisions.
